Lately everything has been going wrong for me. School, parents, friends and everything else. I feel like I can’t do this anymore. I’ve contemplated committing suicide a few times. I don’t know what to do anymore. — Contemplating
Let me start off by saying that there is nothing, absolutely NOTHING worth taking your life over! There are many resources available to you, specifically the National Suicide Hotline at 1-800-273-8255. There are times when things can get really bad, but remember things can and always do get better. Emotions come and go, but your life has a permanent purpose. I’m a witness to that. I’ve been where you are and I know how you feel. Someone once told me though, “Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem”. That saying has stuck with me since then. Please remember that we have choices in life! We get to choose and make decisions about our success at school, the type of friends we allow into our lives and who we want to be as people. CHOOSE LIFE!
I am strongly encouraging you to reach out to a parent, friend, counselor or even a pastor quickly. It’s good to even write down how you’re feeling in a journal. Definitely do not keep your feelings bottled up, because they’ll take a toll on you physically, emotionally and mentally. Things will get better–trust me. Don’t give up! Don’t take the easy way out! Fight for your life! Take it one day at a time and things will change. Please write us and let us know you are doing okay. We are seeding for the greatness in you! I know that everything will work out. VFP
