The bonus was smaller this year for Proviso Township High School Superintendent Nettie Collins-Hart.
The D209 school board, along with the district’s Financial Oversight Panel, voted Nov. 19 in a joint meeting to give a $5,000 bonus to Collins-Hart.
Collins-Hart receives a base salary of $218,791.13, according to the compensation report published on the district website. Additionally, she receives a $9,000 annuity and $48,888.60 in other benefits, according to the website.
Her bonus figure was smaller this year than last. In January, 2013, the school board granted her a $20,000 bonus, according to provisions in her contract.
The financial oversight panel and the board will vote soon whether or not to extend Collins-Hart’s contract. Last year, the board voted to extend her contract for two years, but the FOP reduced that extension to one year. VFP
Congratulations. Well deserved. Under her leadership the last 6 years and a cooperating 209 BOE condition…stability was established. The dual BOE/FOP meeting was a positive step and 2012 legally established step in monitoring the Superintendent’ performance.
