The Village Free Press‘s Local Author Spotlight will be inaugurated with a meet-and-greet, Q & A and a book signing at the Maywood Public Library on Saturday, March 8, 2014, from 12pm to 2pm. This month’s featured author is Gwendolyn Young, Executive Director of Seed of Hope Foundation and Founder and CEO of G.L. Young Consulting. Mrs. Young also authors the weekly “Dear Hope” column for VFP, where she offers advise and guidance on a range of topics that affect young women, girls and the people who love them. Her book, Governing In Excellence, published this year, details the strategies that make any successful organization work. Afterward, there will be a small meet-and-greet and a raffle.
