2014 Primary Election Results: The Day After

Wednesday, March 19, 2014

Yesterday, the 2014 Illinois Primary Elections were held. The Wednesday Journal reported a record number of Illinois suburbanites, more than 1.45 million, registered to vote before Tuesday’s election. However, the percentage of those who actually voted seems to have been as paltry as usual. According to the Cook County Clerk’s office, about 34,000 Cook County voters voted early this year, compared to nearly 35,000 in 2010. For suburban vote totals and election results, click here.
