The Village is scheduled to hold a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees tonight, 7 PM, at Village Chambers (125 S. 5th Avenue, Maywood IL). To access the board packet/agenda, click here. Among the items to be discussed:
- An open invoices report totaling nearly $1.5 million is to be discussed and voted on. Among the larger expenses include contractual services with the accounting firm Baker Tilly for a total of $38,413.56 to prepare financial audits; $47,903.02 to the Village of Melrose Park for water services; and $8,158.60 to Tetra Tech EM, INC for unspecified “contractual services.”
- The Board will consider approving an omnibus agenda worth more than $1.5 million.
- The Board will officially vote on whether or not to appoint David Myers as Acting Village Manager. For more info on this matter, click here.
- The Board will consider relocating the Mayor’s office from 125 S. 5th Avenue to 40 Madison and removing the Executive Assistant Position from the Village President & Trustees budget and to be placed under the Village Manager’s Budget.
