Maywood Woman Charged After Crashing Into Police Car

Bond for Natasha Mister, 31, of the 1000 block of South 14th Ave. in Maywood, was set at $200,000 after she reportedly crashed her car into a marked Illinois State Police vehicle early on Aug. 28, according to numerous reports (see herehere and here).

Mister was charged with a range of traffic violations related to the accident, including aggravated DUI.

Early last Sunday morning, Mister was driving south on I-355 when her car plowed into the vehicle of an Illinois State Trooper that had been on the shoulder of the road near Army Trail Road. The vehicle’s emergency lights were on when the accident happened.

The trooper reportedly suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening. Mister is scheduled to be in court on Sept. 26. VFP
