According to multiple news reports, Illinois state police are looking into two separate shootings that happened within less than 12 hours on Monday.

“No injuries were reported in either incident,” the Chicago Tribune reports.

The first shooting happened on Monday when state police were notified that two vehicles were “shooting at each other in the inbound lanes near Kedzie Avenue in Chicago.”

The second shooting happened later that day, at around 10:30 p.m. The male driver of a “green Buick was heading east when someone in a dark-colored vehicle opened fire near 17th Ave.,” according to the Chicago Tribune, which cited state police.
