Maywood Swears-in Two New Police Officers | Town Hall Meeting Set for Saturday, July 15

During a July 12 Legal, License and Ordinance Committee (LLOC) meeting, two new Maywood Police Department officers, John Cochiaro and Christopher Mullaney, were sworn in.

The officers recently completed their academy training. They received certificates and the oath of office from Gloria Clay, a member of the Maywood Board of Fire and Police Commission.


Maywood Town Hall scheduled for Saturday, July 15

Maywood Mayor Edwenna Perkins and Cook County Commissioner Richard R. Boykin (1st) will co-host a town hall meeting on Saturday, July 15, 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., at Maywood Village Council Chambers, 125 S. 5th Ave. in Maywood.

  1. All I can say is good luck on the “town hall meeting” that will take place at the village hall in Maywood. I hope that all the residents, community organizers/activists, and small business owners will attend this meeting and bring some ideas to combat the challenges that the village of Maywood is going through in order to see progressive changes.
