On Thursday, July 25, 6 p.m., at the village of Melrose Park, 1000 N. 25th Ave. in Melrose Park, state Rep. Kathleen Willis will host a Free Proviso Township Property Tax Appeal Seminar. On Thursday, July 25, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 73, 4550 Roosevelt Rd. in Hillside, the Proviso Township Complete Count Commission will host an informational meeting on the 2020 U.S. Census. Hear from a range of elected officials. To RSVP, visit:

Close out Quinn’s summer program with a bang

On Friday, July 26, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Quinn Center of St. Eulalia, 1832 S. 8th Ave. (enter door #3) in Maywood, Quinn’s summer program will celebrate its completion with a summer showcase, dances, art exhibits, food and much more.

Listen to music in the park

Help True Value celebrate 33 years in business

Bring your stringed instrument and play along

On Saturday, July 27, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Maywood Public Library, 125 S. 5th Ave. in Maywood, join the Maywood Library Strum Circle to play along to traditional folk, blues and bluegrass songs.
