  1. Hi Mike – Please add a feature that allows me to set up a monthly donation. I have donated for now, but would like to set it up for a monthly. Keep up the much needed objective voice in our community. Gustavo

  2. Gustavo,

Since I don’t yet have the capacity to setup an automatic payment process, what you’ll have to probably do is donate (following the steps you took with your first donation) each month. Hopefully, this isn’t too much of a burden. Right now, I’m working on ways to make the process a lot easier. But in the meantime, this seems to be the most available method. Let me know if you have any suggestions. I appreciate your early and enthusiastic support! You and Sarah are awesome.

  3. Mike, I really appreciate what you’re doing for the Village! I do believe your reporting had a huge hand in this years election. Knowledge is power!

  4. Mike, good to meet you recently and I must admit you are an excellent writer/reporter. Enjoy the articles I have read and find the diversity and depth interesting. Keep up the good work.

  5. To Michael Romain:

I have known you as former high school classmates attending Proviso East High School. I am really amazed of how you’ve turned this idea that you created into a reality. “The Village Free Press” is definitely a breath of fresh air for the residents in the village of Maywood, and the Proviso Township. Your newspaper is accommodating the “Maywood Herald” newspaper that I use to read while I was a student in high school, to know what events is happening in Maywood.

Keep up the amazing work, Michael! I hope that the business, residents, and the Proviso Township give you funding, and a sponsor to take your newspaper to a whole another level. Keep going!

    – Jeremy
